So i went to control pannel and uninstalled the digidesign audio drivers, clicked repair pro tools, plugged in the mbox2 mini when told and basicaly installed it properly, however i have the same problem, perfect in pt8 just not in standalone. I just went out and bought the mbox 2 mini, i wanted to beable to use both the mbox1 and mbox 2 mini on the same system (not at the same time) so i plugged in the mbox2 and went throught the windows found new hardware (i know, i know, i know, the only reason was i didnt want to uninstall previous mbox drivers etc) So anyways pt8 works fine with the MBOX2 mini and recognises it, however standalone mode now for superior 2.0 guitar rigs and amplitube dont recognise the asio device? I plugged in the original mbox and same thing happens, it doesnt recognise the asio in standalone. I allways use guitar rigs, amplitubes in standalone mode. Hi guys, using the original mbox on my laptop with pt8 working fine.
